It has just been run and went without a mishap.
Few offs and no injuries at all.
About 115 entries, the best for a while.
20 sidecars and about 90 solos.
Track was dry and the mornings were cool.

New management at Winton has advised they want Bike Racing to continue at the circuit, so I expect some action about renewing its tarck licence will take place at some time.

Benalla Auto Club owns Winton Motor Raceway Pty Ltd. Track upgrades and maintenance are paid for by Winton Motor Raceway Pty Ltd which is completely responsible for operating the raceway. In the past Winton Motorcycle Club also used the services of Winton Motor Raceway Pty Ltd for running meetings. That is who you deal with when you contact Winton - NOT Benalla Auto Club. You don't want to know them.

Is there a connection between to entities?
Who would pay for the work?
What is the auto club responsible for?

There are a couple of things you should know Winton Motor Raceway Pty Ltd and Benalla Auto Club and Winton Motorcycle club are all separate entities. When Mick died, Benalla Auto Club members went a bit silly - they call the shots at Winton. The Winton circuit has been completely re-surfaced.

Need some help.
This was sent to me a few days ago. Not sure what is going on, has the bubble burst?
Can Alan C. fill in a few details.

Currently the licence is extended by MA to suit the Historic event. I am confident something more substantial will be done soon, because work is needed on the track. The new management have advised they are keen for bikes to be present, so we can only wait and see.

Good to hear John, you must be happy with the sidecar numbers?
I really like going to Winton and good to see that they are moving forward with the track licence. Do you get a special licence for Historic Winton?
