Very sorry to advise that yesterday, june 23rd,2016, Bruce passed away after a long battle against cancer. Bruce was an avid supporter of classic racing, his passion and engineering skills made his Montesa a class-leading bike for many years. Bruce was one of the first Sporting M/C Club members I met when I arrived in Geelong in 1964, and he remained a friend from then on. From now on, in race paddocks around the place,I shall miss the sight of him in his dustcoat, on his knees, staring at some "annoying" part of his bike, fixing, improving, tuning, helping others. One of the "good guys".
