I have not had any feedback from the sidecar world about including F2's in the Island Classic.
Of course I, Max hooper and others supported it so that outfits would actually be on the program, which I hope others see as a benefit for a start.
At a time when sidecar teams are growing, we felt an appearance at this premier event was important.
I am aware that last year I did a dump and a moan about the lack of entries, and I learnt my comments were inflammatory, and I realised and was told I needed to temper my critisisim. Something I have taken on board.

With new Historic teams forming we may be able the encourage them to enjoy the meeting.
I am sure there may be some complaints, but I think if we argue our case first it may help.
Also, if we can come to some arrangement with PIMS about the maximum number of F2's,
so they don't dominate the event and cause more resistance to entering, it may be a worthwhile approach. It may settle down to a compromise.
What are your thoughts?
