Hi all,

I'm a researcher with GFC Films. Our team is working on a feature documentary about 1987 500cc world champion Wayne Gardner to be released in cinemas next year. Directed by Jeremy Sims (Last Cab to Darwin, Beneath Hill 60) and produced by the company that made McLaren (2017), the film will tell the exhilarating story of Wayne?s triumphant, improbable journey from a 5-dollar dirt bike to the international summit of sport.
We are gathering archive for the film and are interested in any footage/photographs that you may have of Wayne or his associates. I?ve attached a spreadsheet of a timeline of Wayne?s career and events that might jog your memory. Rows highlighted in green are of particular interest to us. Please feel free to get in touch with me at tom@gfcfilms.com
Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you.
