good to see a few southern faces on the weekend,(just don't tell John D any good jokes for a few weeks till his ribs recover ),the larges (overnite gearbox rebuild experts),& Max,(guess i'll have the one in front at broady eh mate!),team spagetti had a high attrition rate,shortened/lightened the rod in the MV,Ian's ducati oil pump went nye nyes,Marks benelli inlet valve repositioned itself(now thinks it's an exhaust?),Phil's 350 ducati electrics (well they're sort of italian)didn't ,so the other Phil(250 ducati)electrics went awol in sympathy too!,hey Acrotel, the Scott rudges went ok,500 was a tad intimidating, couldn't quite get the hang of sitting over the back wheel, letting the girders do their own thing way up front through the corners,at least i kept a couple of HD/Indians honest?,the 250 was a different story, tapped at 7.500,dab brakes & hang on,bloodyneat, think i was faster on it?,all i did all weekend was spray chain lube on the valves stems/sub rockers, put fuel in the tanks, talk about reliable!,so a good weekend ,very cold, wind blowing up the straight sat was a pain,(some needed sprocket changes?),ok sun, rain held off till today, swapmeet was well attended, few bargains,so roll on broadford
