Look I go away for a couple of days (as it so happens) to Tasmania with no internet access and blow me down I come back to a bung fight and there is one person causing it.

I will have to sit down with Allan G and show him how to split a topic and move it to a new area. I will not tolerate personal attacks on anyone anymore (after last years stuff up (including me)). Should I find anyone, and I mean anyone having a personal attack at someone, then they will have their accounts locked.

Alan W (WA) & John D, you can be rest assured that you will not be upset by the account that had a personal attack at both of you. That account has been suspended from this site until I feel it should be allowed back. They where given fair warning and they decided to not listen to that advice.

David,

While it is nice to have immediate postings as you do on here it might be wise to do as other sites do and to moderate them before posting them. A lot more work but at the end of the day a few people do need to be checked. At least that way everyone can still post items of interest and you just exclude the ones that are inappropriate. The persons you have excluded did from time to time have valid comments and it was only the way they were presented that caused the problem.
I have no personal gripe with anyone in particular but am not going to be subjected to abuse and ridicule when all I am trying to do is to help the sport in which I choose to compete and I am aware that my opinions are not always the same as others.
Good luck and thanks for your continued efforts.

Alan

I know it would be nice to stop all posts until they have been moderated, but it would only delay in seeing them online and would place enormous pressure on me to make sure they are on. I read all posts as soon as I can, but people need to be trusted to act like adults and not do childish things as this person did.

I am also trying to help the sport out by providing this free service to the users, and if they choose to abuse that trust and act like spoilt little school children, then they will have that trust taken away from them.

It has taken a small amount of people to stuff it for the majority, and it is not fair on the real contributors to the sport for these spoilt brats to stuff it for the rest of the community. This is why I am now taking a ZERO (0) policy at this site. "Stuff it for others, and I stuff it for them." I feel it is a fair and direct policy and can only help the sport.
