There are scammers accessing private e-mail addresses via this site. Might pay to be a bit careful? The one that I received is the predictable sob story from Adrica promising a huge sum for my bank account details. The delete button comes in handy again!

It is not only this site but others as well. I have warned users not to place their e-mail address in posts as robots harvest all e-mail addresses and use them.
There is nothing I can do about it. They do not get your e-mail from any other part of the site as I have hidden those from the public. The only way that they do get it is by the user placing their e-mail address in the public space, be it the forum topics or classifieds section.
As you see even by the contact us form on this site, you need to place some code in the to be able to send e-mails to this site. I will be adding this function to the sign-up page, when posting a message, and sending a e-mail from the forms on this site to others which will stop the robots.
If users get these types of e-mails, can they please forward me the full e-mail including the headers so I can get them stopped.

OK, some members have been kind enough to send me the e-mail that was sent out and I have locked that users account. If you get an e-mail from the following user: ami55
Just delete it, as they are a SPAMMER. This has forced me in to implementing the Anti-Spam software sooner than I was going to.
The user that sent out the SPAM, has not seen your e-mail address, so you should not get anymore. |

New Anti-Spam software implemented on the site. All letters are CAPS and the numerics do not have a one (1) or a zero (0). It is six random generated digits that robots can not see, so it should be OK now. |
