I went to the auction at Lakeside a couple of weeks ago they were selling everything from posters on the wall to the track fences I joked about selling the tower & some people were looking in the program for it. So I knew this was it for racing at Lakeside. But the local council (PR) brought most of the stuff to run the track for racing they missed out on buying some of the sheds/shed medical center or something as such, but they commented that they could build new ones for the same price or cheaper than what someone paid for them! as you have seen in the local papers, People lots of people are up in arms about the Council stopping racing, the genaral communty have sent letters to the local MPs papers & the council complaining about it. But it looks good for racing sooner or later. Steve
