COME ON YOU OWNERS OF 125CC RACERS OUT THERE. LETS GET THE ULTRALIGHTWEIGHT CLASS UP AND RUNNING AGAIN.

ANYONE WHO OWNS A 125CC CLASSIC, POST CLASSIC, OR FORGOTTON ERA MACHINE. PLEASE CONTACT ME.

EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE, BUT YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO DOES, PLEASE GIVE ME THEIR DETAILS SO WE CAN CHASE THEM BACK OUT ON TO THE GRIDS AGAIN, OR GET THEM SOLD TO PEOPLE WHO WILL RACE THEM.

At this stage I know of 6 125cc Post Classic machines running at the National titles in Perth this November, (2 of them are mine). Just 4 more will make this a class that will be eligible for a National Championship status. They have to be out there. So someone......anyone.....please contact me so that I can start a register of 125cc bikes of the P3, P4, and P5 classes

Well....... A couple of hours scanning through all the results of 125cc Classic, Post Classic, and Forgotten era races from all over Australia since the year 2000 has turned up a total of 69......Yes that's right 69 125cc Classic race bikes from P3, P4, and P5.

The break up is as follows:

a. Classic Period 3 - 19,

b. Post Classic Period 4 - 29, and

c. Forgotton Era Period 5 - 21.

Of course some of these bikes would have been sold over this period causing the same machine to appear twice in my calculations, but the basic numbers are actually encouraging.

The States that have the most 125cc bikes are Victoria and New South Wales.

so why don't we see them at race meetings?????? 125cc owners that I have spoken to have all claimed to be keen to bring them out, but only if all of the others do. Hmmmmmm Much work to be done here I think.

So please start sending me information and I'll see if we can't get the Ultralightweight classes up and running again.

Lets see how many we can get to return to the track?

Regards,

John Swensen

John if you knock up a promo we will put it in the HMRAV newsletter. I guess if you act as the central contact point it may be possible to get some action happenning. I could be a contact in Vic. if the telphone lines dont reach to NSW as a fall back position
