THE 2003 gcr'S PROVIDED for a new class 750cc in P4 and 700cc P3. Please learn to read the GCR's. It may address some of theissues you have been speaking about. Also, the HMRAV have picked up the QLD idea of 500-750cc push rod class which is slowly getting interest

Hi John
The comments about the "NEW 750 CLASS" were a tongue in cheek comments!! I know & I have learnt to read John!!! the GCR's over the years!! but I have not seen any Historic Clubs actually inforce it!! Maybe I'm not paying much attention to other states, but Victory has not got the final say on all rule decisions!! Which seems to be related with the comments like (the Victorians wants a rule change it usually happens) I still don't understand how a 6 speed gearbox which was produced around 1965 can be ok for period 3, maybe the 9" double sided leading link brakes will be passed on so called safty grounds.
Maybe the lurkers on this sight are worried about being shot down in flames not agreeing was the Vic's
Comments like-: "Please Learn to Read" Come on John the sight I throught were for public debate not to critizise other people throughts.
Steve

I HUMBLY APOLOGISE FOR DEMEANING THE MEMBERS WITH A CLAIM PLEASE LEARN TO READ.
In my meek defence maybe I am mixing too much with too many other administrtors. But I am amazed how many times people ring, write, email or collar me about questions that are clearly defined in the GCR's and I have to read the same book to get the answer for them when they could have read the book in the first place. I have to admit a bit of resentment about all those calls.
But there is a new class promoted initially by WA to cater for real 750cc machines in P3 and P4.
As I write here I am wondering if people actually have recieved a copy of the GCR's because I do remember they are not always available.
