I am just checking to see if there is a market to produce a compilation video of the Historic Racing Year. It may be an additional service the industry can benefit from. If I get good feed back I shall track down somebody who can do it from film collected already.

What film do you have John ?
Any type of footage may be usable for promotion of coming events with an "action packed" demo tape played in a few motorcycle shops, pubs, channel 31 ??? or anywhere else people can think of.
Regional T.V. may even run something on their news?
Channel 10 did when Barry Sheene rode at the Island.
Kevin Williams runs "W.E.M" now showing moto-x and supermoto on fox sports who may be approachable with a quick plug?
Or what about Kevin Magee?
Wayne Gardner is now on Fox also?
Trading Post Whats On is also a great plug
"Drive" in Herald Sun and Age have free space avali..

John, did you enjoy the bit of video I sent you after Broadford? It isn't actually taken with a video camera. I use an ordinary digital camera, upload to a computer, then use Adobe Photoshop to smarten up the shots. I then write a complete directory with the photos onto CD, put then into the Samsung DVD player, and plug the video lead, and two sound leads from a CD player into my VCR. You end up with an 18 second per shot slide show with continuous music.

P.S. Making that tape cost 75 cents for the blank CD and $3 for a blank tape. The Samsung DVD player cost $150, and I use a stereo VCR, and ordinary CD player. There are about 180 shots on it and it runs for about 25 minutes. I think you'll agree the shots are much sharper than you usually get with a video camera.
