Keith Campbell went and broke his arm (must of been bad as the out fit packed up and went home). Missed him comming off by about 10-20 mins as he was be treated by St Johns and then the Ambulance Victoira tuned up and took him away. The bike was a mess. I thought that it may off been his Matchless that still had the grass in it.

There were side cars but not many of them. I see why John Daley pushes to have a few more out there. There was about 180 entries in the Aus Titles and about 250 bikes/sidecars.

More of a report and and a heap of images to go up later in the week-end. Good to catch up with a few people over the week-end from this site and others.

Great to see the Kiwis there sharing the pit with a single TZ 350 rider from NSW by the name of Greg Bennett and with the kiwis wanting to keep up with Greg.

Saw Rudi Shank have a win with the H1 Kawasaki. Definitely and intrepid rider the bike was doing all the old Kwacka twisting and shaking around. Stuart Lolly turned in several record breaking laps (1 min 44.5 secs ?), he's gonna be really hard to beat if he continues to progress this way!
The Forgotten Era races were absolutely great. One grid had 26 bikes with half of them TZs, most of them two strokes. Really great racing. We saw Craig Morris slide to the deck. Rob was going really great!

Keith had an operation on his right wrist and it is reported by his family all went well. Keith may need to learn to type with his left hand only for a while!

Sorry to hear about Keith's accident. Hope he gets well quickly.
Who ran the meeting at Phillip Island, was it Fergus Cameron? Whoever it was, deserves to be congratulated on the quality of the whole production. The guys are bringing out really well prepared machines these days, and I noticed a lot of NSW riders with top machinery. Makes me wonder why all the historic meetings aren't as well supported?
The crowd of spectators was really heartening.
I feel I've really got to bring my TZ out, if Forgotten Era is becoming so good!! Keep working at it, guys!!
