Recently the 2004 Victorian Sports Awards were held on the 30th June.
Motorcycling Victoria nominated John for the Volunteer Administrator of the Year Award and on the night took top honours.
Other winners were
Alisa Camplin,Vic Sportsperson of the Year
Rowan Tegart,Frank Wilkes Male Athlete o/t Year. (He cleaned up the 2003 National MX Champs winning the Senior 125,250 and 500 State Titles)
Rachel Lipsett,Kitty McEwen Award-Sportswoman o/t Year.(She won the2003/04 4 Stroke Nationals and the Thumpercross Series)
So a big congratulations goes to you John.
