Hello again,

Well, my ticket is booked and I'll be arriving in Australia on the 24th of Nov. I leave Toronto on the 22, the flight lasts only 20hrs or so, so where does the 23rd go? Hmm, I'm confused.
Anyway, on to more important questions.
I will be living in Adelaide and will be purchasing a bike as soon as possible. As mentioned previously, I'm looking at a Yamaha XT500 to start with as I enjoy both road riding and offroad riding and want to experience both when I get there. My first question is what is the process of buying, registering and insuring a used motorcycle in SA? What kind of taxes are involved, what is a "rego", etc.
Also, one of my ongoing projects here is a 1970's Rickman 125 Zundapp. However all I have is the frame and am not looking to restore it to original. I do need the front end and the swingarm mounting hardware, beyond that the options are open. Were Rickman 125's popular in Australia? Will I have a hard time finding parts if I decide to bring the project with me? I would like to ship it because it's my favourite at the moment and it's pretty small. The 125 was quite popular in North America but I'm just not sure about Australia.
One more question. I've just attended my last swap meet here in Canada and am looking forward to seeing what the vintage scene is like down under. What events are coming up after November in the Adelaide area?
Thanks for you help everybody!
