An interesting new classic event on next weekend over on the other side of the world is a Concours d'Provenance. In other words if you have the real deal you can display the machine and let your peers judge the authenticity of your exhibit. Points awarded on historic documentation and first person testiomy; such as provided by a period rider, owner or mechanic. We would be interested in providing space for such an event at Broadford. This would need a special person with lots of time to get it together, maybe this could be connected up to the CMA Track Day??
I have been told by the founders that this sort of event does not fit in very well at a race meeting. Naturally we should bow to their wisdom, "entry to the show is at no charge for all. Photography by all is encouraged. It is a chance to showcase the very best of machines to all as a static display without the razamtaz of a race meeting".
