Well what a meeting.
156 entries, crowds of about 520 sat. and 1200 sunday, with people hanging over the fences at bay 13, and dispite some showers on Sat. morning great weather.
The F/Era is starting to produce some very close and hard racing with Rob Phillis riding hard. The Southern Classic Unlimited Solo was won by Stuart Loly on Colin Will's Vincent. Lindsay Urquart / Adrian Lovelace won the Unlimited Classic sidecar on his new Anzani, John Daley / Phil Treacey won the unlimited Post Classic Sidecar, Ben Needha / Mark won the 836 Post Classic Sidecar, more results later or go to the computime site.
Overall a great demonstration of a well run and supported event.

Well, this is the first time I have looked into this web site. The thing I did was register. I normally ride dirt bikes, but after seeing the racing on saturday at broadford I must admit I was having a lot of fun just walking around the pits and admiring the workmanship of some of the oldies. I am looking forward to getting into discussions with people on this forum regarding the having a go at it my self. I am sure there is a lot to learn on this racing stuff.

Just for starters, if a gumby like my self wanted to have a go at this type of racng, which would be the best and cheapest way to go. I don't have a squillion dollars, and it's going to be quite a turn around to convince my other half that I'm serious. So having said that I'll need to start at the start so to speak, with the main aim to get enjoyment out of the concept classic bike racing, god... I don't even know how to ride a road bike. Never done it before.... only dirt bikes my whole life. This sounds like a pretty scary concept.
