HI Everyone,
I did post something to this effect a few days ago but given the problems this site suffered with hackers wiping a lot of it out I just though I would put some similar comments back again because I am not sure that everybody would have had a chance to read them.
Having just competed in the Southern Classic at Broadford I wanted to compliment everybody concerned. The organisation, the track, the racing, the flaggies, the other competitors (and in particular the sidecar people) were all fantastic for the whole weekend. We had a ball - and I am telling everyone over here in SA so that hopefully more of them will make the trek to experience Broadford in the future.
Thanks everyone for a fantastic weekend.
PS: for those who saw my query about the class structure for sidecars - I was not concerned, merely curious, and, I now have an explanation which is perfectly satisfactory. Thanks Toddy.
Regards to all
Geoff

Totally agree Geoff, was a great meeting for all and congrates to all who made it possible.
Great to see the sidecar faimly get together for the weekend with many exchanging parts and information which really helped everyone I think. Also great to see the times come tumbling down, I think just about everyone in the posties took some seconds out of their normal times (did I hear you and Craig did a 1:10????) Doug n Darren down to 1:14s, John n Chrissy 1:14s, Me n Peg 1:14s Don n Chris 1:12s Bondy n Obie (or should I say "Tinkerbell n Wendy") 1:12s, Neil n Rodney 1:06, Geoff n Eric 1:08 (hhhmmm how to make a 836 go that fast ..... hahahaha).
Again a great meeting and thanks to all.

Yes we did do a 1:10 and it was all your fault - we were chasing all you guys in the handicap at the time!
See you all at Phillip Island
