If anyone is interested I went to E C with my KTT 2 weeks ago to the NSW Champs and got 2nd in the Vintage Junior Champ (pre 1945 to 350cc). pouints over 3 races It was won by Mark Valla on Peter Scotts incredibly fast 250cc Rudge,

They also presented me with the perpetual trophy for 2002 for "continued participation and performance in the class" Altogether I came home pretty happy at age 74
Unfortunately KTT expired on the last cool down lap with broken top bevels and sundry othe damage plus a busted part of the rear hub..

Hope to get ready for Mallala but there are a few problems

There were 8 entries in the class, but the officials used thei discretion and declared it a Champ. I was pushing this class a couple of years ago. It is relatively cheap, and there are suitable machines around if one searces for them.

I tried to get this story on last week but it got lost hope it goes thro now Bruped
