Hello,
Just thought that I would ask if people are interested in having their own personal page on Classic Motorcycling Australia? I am in the process of putting the finishing touches to allow people to create a personal web site online. Would you as a user be interested or not?
There would only be simple rules to be followed, and that would be:
1. No porn what so ever 2. No commercial advertising 3. No personal attacks on any indiviual
Sound fair?

Due to the lack of participation, I do not think it is worth me making it available. I just thought that some users would rather they sent people to this site for a page, but it seems to not be the case.
Why I bother, I'll never know.

A page for special interest groups, such as those guys interested in Historic Superbikes, must be a useful service. I'd like time to think about setting up a page for blokes/gals interested in racing 500cc fourstroke singles. Best Regards, |

Alan (and others),
If you have a look under the "Features Area" in the side menu, then you will be able to see what I mean (Free User Pages).
I will not be doing anymore development on this site, as I feel the site is no longer wanted to help the sport of Classic/Post Classic or Historic Motorcycle racing.
There is way too many people out there trying to destroy the sport. I see these people and small groups as only wanting things to suit their needs and not the needs of the community as a whole. In turn, I have finally been dis-heartend by these groups and people.
Maybe this is what has happened to Allan Greening as well. I have been noticing that he no longer makes comments and only has the occassional quick look.
So I might catch ya's later. I guess the decline has finally reached this site, and it is such a shame.

David, I think it's a pity you are withdrawing from the game just when it's getting interesting. All of us need this web site! There is a large number of hits on every subject, but most of the guys seem to be afraid to get on line and have a go. This surprises me a bit, as the people I refer to aren't afraid to fall of a bike at high speed, yet they let a few words put them off. I wouldn't take any notice of MA/MV having a shot at you, they aren't the 'only game in town'. Best Regards, |

I have stated earlier, I do not give a crap what MA think, but feel that people by not getting on to any of the Australian sites to do with Classic/Post Classic or Historic motorcycle racing and voicing their opinions.quote: Originally posted by acotrel I wouldn't take any notice of MA/MV having a shot at you, they aren't the 'only game in town'.
They themselves have killed it, as I thought that this was a great media to get on and have their say on a national level, but the whimps have decided to keep quite which in turn is killing the sport. Hence the lack of wanting to help here as well.. |
