congrats to all involved in running southern classic, pretty good turnout,we all had fun, even the weather co operated,(except small hiccup sun arvo),did anyone else notice the bands backing tapes were better?,congrats to Keith & George taking out the big trophy, thanks to all those poor souls sat nite for attempting 6hrs of futile spark ressucitation on my mv250,the ryobi torch battery lasted 2 races sunday until the coil backing plate fell into the flywheel locking the motor,(finally leading a race, typical!!)as if only 3rd & top gear was bad enough,ah well thats racing, see you all next time, mick

| G'day Mick, did you notice that the backing tape bands cost hundreds of thousand dollars and use million dollar studios. Our band cost less than half that. Most people enjoyed the music. Another difference is that the million dollar bands have never won a Southern Classic, a Bruce Donald Memorial or a club championship. Our guitarist won all three on the weekend. glad you enjoyed the meeting and hope to see you back again. I have your tax invoice and will send it as soon as I find your address. |
