Alan and Roger have been talking off the topic in the International Post Classic topic which seems to have support. But the off topic talk has detracted from the sssence of the IPCC.
My starting contribution is ..." At the moment any promoter can run any event or combination of events. The GCR based classes are really only enforced at State or National Champs. The HMRAV runs a 650cc sidecar class which is not in the book, and other clubs have their club class's. "

I agree John, however people seem to think these classes begin and end with MA. That it's OK to dream up a class put it in the rule book, and the bikes will be built. I believe a better approach would be to get the Post Classic Association together again, and let the competitors decide what 'the rules' should be, on a CONSENSUS BASIS! MA should only be involved after the class is up and going!
It's a pity Rob Dark isn't still around, he seemed to be the person holding the whole thing together.
Incidently, there's a safety issue with running small capacity bikes in unlimited events, particularly in period 4.
