I received this information this morning and will pass it on:quote: From: Christine Loulier Sent: Tuesday, 28 September 2004 12:11 PM To: (List removed) Subject: MRA Cranbourne GP Run
The MRA Cranbourne GP Run is gearing up again this year, and Cranbourne will become a sea of colour and chrome as the City of Casey hosts one of the most exciting motorcycle events in Victoria on Saturday, 16 October from 8am to 10:30am.
The event starts with breakfast in Cranbourne's streets, where food outlets and market stalls will be set up. There will also be activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy, including breakfast stalls, face painting, displays and live entertainment. Many spectators are expected to watch thousands of motorcycle riders travelling en masse to the 2004 Cinzano Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix on Phillip Island. The energy heats up at 10am when the motorbikes start their engines and a special guest waves off the riders. Celebrities who have waved off the riders in previous years include Wayne Gardner, Mick Doohan, Sara Jane, Russell Ingall and Greg Murphy.
