Gday all, Just wishing everyone a Merry Xmas and a happy and safe new year. I havnt had time for the forums lately, due to all my time being spent on my 1 Tonner getting it back on the road. Its been a pain riding the pushy to work everyday but hey Im getting fitter for next years season. The outfit is getting another engine rebuilt for the Island Classic after discovering we broke a conrod and numerous other bits. But hey that will happen, thats motor-racing!!! So to all please look back at 2004 as a rather arkward learning curve for some subjects and make 2005 a great success that will be talked about in a positive way for years to come.
P.S anyone got a portable MIG welder in Melb, Im welding on new sills and prefer not to hire or buy one as Ive been told the outfits more important to get running for the Island.Any offers, beer for payment.

All the best for the season, thanks to all for the lessons of 2004 (good, bad and ugly), the Honda is nearly ready for testing and the bucket gets a flogging new years day, cant see any competitive outings in 05, just a lot of testing and learning, this is the year I get my mechanics qualifications and become totally responsible for all the unexpected loud noises.
have a good one and remember

A Merry christmas to all and a safe and successful new year. a big thankyou to all the All the clubs I have raced with this year especially the PCRA NSW, St George MCC, the HMRAV for the Southern classic and Bob Blythe for the Barry Sheene Memorial and all their commitee, volunteers, sponsors and flaggies and everyone who helps to keep us racing. To all the dedicated people that are continually involved organising our sport and seem to cop it from one quarter or another now and again, don't give up when any of us lot has a spit remember we're all in it for fun and the success of historic racing My first year has been up and down (& round & Round & bang & thump). But I have learn't a lot and met some top folks and made some good friends I'd like to thank Jamie from Bikecare Adamstown, Greame Morris, Andy and staff at Graeme Morris Motorcycles Broadmeadow for all the help and advice and good deals, Brian and the boys from Penrith Wreckers, the Wreckery Wallsend, First place Wreckers Waratah for all bits and pieces. And Dave Hall for God knows how many hours making wheels and brakes fit. Welding frames and turning chunks of aluminium and steel dropped at his door into parts I can trust with my life. And thanks to my fellow riders you know your in good company when you will help your closest rival out and also be helped by them. Best Wishes Chris Munn |
