Hiya John,

Freakin Hell, sorry I didn't make it............... Short and tragic story really.... I worked like a demon to get everything done, all Friday night and all Sat, bike runs, looks good everything safety wired etc etc, went to bed feeling good about being able to ride it finally. Up at 5:30 on Sun, loaded everything up then....went to push the bike onto the trailer and guess what? The bike wouldn't go onto the stoopid dirt bike trailer I had borrowed. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH, I tried for 2 1/2 hrs to get it on, dropped it once, but to no avail. Much disapointment, maybe it wasn't meant to be this time but its always the little mundane things that end up biting you.

Beeennnnyyyyy!!!!
Plan ahead son!
I guess this fiasco took place after somebody told you it would fit?
I guess also you believed them?
Lesson #1
When recieveing unsolicited advice always check the credentials of the person offering the advice.
Lesson # 2
When your balls are on the line and the some person answers , yeah she'll be right. CHECK, it often pays dividends.
Lesson #3
Dont get ready to go racing at 5.30am on a big day. Always pack the night before. That way you rarely leave the leathers at home.

In this case the size situation would have been solved earlier.
You better get a McDonalds trailer so they can size you up!!

But more importantly racing is effort and unless you were on the way home from the disco, there is no way you will have full strength by about 3.00pm if you got up at 5.30am raced around a track like an 18 yo and fixed a few problems.

Yeah, I know, I know. However, I don't have the luxury of space and being able to set everything up the night before, I don't think leaving the bike strapped to a trailer on the street overnight is a good idea...........But, I should have tried it first. Hey, I'm young and compulsive, these things happen...........Point taken..............

Until next time.

nope, ya gotta support the young'uns, just have to give us a class of our own , maybe CB350K(Junior division).

Anyway the plan is to have all the fast old buggers retired by the time we are ready to have a tilt at a title. I have only ever ridden a couple of mid size twins (briefly) on the road and have no real idea what I'm getting on to.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we may as well dance
