The TEDDYS have been acting strangely, it seems they dont want people to talk about potential restrictions on using their name by another club to to actually help promote themselves.
So if any body can help solve the situation we may be able to get things sorted so TEDDYS can race with impunity.

John, I am confused.
Do I take it that the BEARS boys have objected to being named as part of a race programme promoted by H.M.R.A.V.?
Surely no one would be that stupid?????
Am I missing something here?
Cheers, John

The HMRAV are ok.
I thought it best to explain what we as a club we have been doing to promote BEARS in Victoria.
The basis of the plan was through the Road Race Management Committee, of which I am a member, to generate interest at mainly Preston MCC and Hartwell club MCC meetings to slowly build local numbers of BEARS style of machines.

We have tried to encourage clubs to look at the BEARS format, with a view to ultimately boost numbers at your events, particularly the event run with the HMRAV, but also any other event on the basis that additional machines could only help.
We try and convince our historic eligible machines to enter your events, but they, just don't understand they are eligible. We may still get the idea more readily known.

We have done the same for Post Classic and F2 sidecars, 125cc solos and Classic 500 solos and now Ossa style machines.

The F2 sidecars are out of period for us, but since nobody wanted them and we love sidecars and had room in our Post Classic sidecar races for F2 we put our hand up.

I have had good discussions with the BEARS and it seems they are just making sure the BEARS concept is not presented in different styles.
