Thanks for the notice, David. I've just sent an email off to Peter Bevan, and I hope others interested in improving the sport will do the same. I'm sure that there are better ways to run meetings and championships, than we have done in the past. In fact I believe Historic Road racing has reached a critical stage in its development.
People like John Daley/HMRAV offer hope that we are not so conservative, that we can't improve dramatically. In my day many of the powerbrokers in the ACU had never put their legs over a bike. I hope we get a few of the riders involved in writing the 'rules'.

We never got an update on who took all/any of these roles. Would MA be kind enough to supply the details of who holds what office and their contact details for those users who would like to know...

Ross, How about single event licences for historic racing? Or at least for 'seniors'. The $350 licence fee is a big disincentive when you only want to race a couple of times a year!
I write to MV a couple of years ago, they acknowledged my letter, however I never got an official reply either rejecting or accepting the idea.
Apparently some idiot involved in historic scrambles cried about why they couldn't get single event licences and destroyed our chances.
