Why did the philosophy get placed back on the table when it was so roundly rejected less than 8 months ago around the country?

Now John that is an extremely good question.
As I have previously stated anyone who does not agree with the philosophy in its current form or in any similar form should either rewrite it in a manner they believe acceptable or generate a response to the Commission as an individual, a club a committee or all of the preceding. Generating a state by state petition should also carry some weight making sure that all signatories include their MA licence number if they have one.
As written this document could have a very serious impact on Historic Racing as we know it and the only option available for us is to oppose it in an organised and cohesive manner.
It would be interesting if it were possible to find out the reasoning behind the Commissions thoughts on suggesting its introduction. The Commissioners cant tell us but maybe someone from the office can.

why do you people always try to be so politicaly correct while getting screwed up the ass?
the philosophy of doom was rejected hands down, so end of story no rewrites just rejection, as far as everyone is concerned its was davids whites way of getting back at people.
the opinion of people is that its dead in the water, dont pander up to them by rewriting it a little bit different, stick to what you all said a few months ago which is that we dont want it or need it. more and more guys are saying that seeing as the commish doesnt exist its all crap anyway.
john daley has asked us to hold back on contacting and complaining to the aust sports commission and the various state sports agentcies and ombudsmens for a week only, thats to give ma a chance to sort out their issues, if you start at You must be logged in to see this link. you can easily find where to complain in the right places. it might make historic guys feel better to know that other parts of the sport are planing to do similar things as well. ross martin & co should be calling on historic guys asap to tell them what to do and not try to do it themselfs coz quite clearly they cant.
the wimps and stooges can pick on me personally as much as they like if that what it takes to make them feel like the men they wish they were, but the fact is we've stopped the philosophy so far and will continue to stick it up ross martin & co until they relise they work for the members and not they other way round.

Alan, you may remember I actually started the discussions about Philosophies with a different document that was not as drastic as the MA one.

It too was rejected after a long discussion.
Its on this site somewhere.
